New research suggests that the controversial Paleo Diet should be incorporating more fish, rather than red meat.
A new study from Lund University in Sweden has revealed that importance of red meat in the Paleo Diet has most likely been exaggerated. .
The researchers at Lund examined Stone Age, skeletal remains from 82 individuals, and found that over 60% of protein gained through their diets was derived from fish!
Researchers theorise that Stone Age hunters would have preferred to hunt prey that was plentiful and required little effort to catch, as opposed to taking down herds of Buffalo.
