Could Vitamin D Supplements Treat IBS?

An interesting new review has come out demonstrating that people with IBS are likely to be deficient in vitamin D!

There is also evidence to suggest that supplementation with vitamin D may significantly reduce the symptoms in those who were deficient.

The sample sizes available were too small for this to be 100% conclusive, however if you have IBS it is worthwhile to get your vitamin D levels tested.
